It's Contest Time!

In an effort to get my name out there more in Southern Alberta, I'm having a contest on Facebook!  The contest will run from January 28th - February 13th.  There are four different sessions you can win.  Yes, four -- 'cause I'm nice like that.

1. You need to "like" my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/DB-Images/8677377988

2. You will need to decide which category you want to enter: Child/Baby, Senior, Family or Mentoring.  Please email me at info@dbimages.ca an image of the child/baby, senior or family you would like to enter.  Please do NOT post images taken by another professional photographer.  You may submit images taken by me.  Also, if you would like to enter the one-on-one mentoring session, please submit your favorite image you've ever taken.  In the email or the re: line, please let me know what category you would like to enter.

3. I will post all of the images and then you will get to share your image on Facebook for your friends and family to vote on.  They will need to 'like' db images' page before they can vote on the image.  And in order to vote for an image they need to 'like' the image.

4. On February 13th, keep tuned to Facebook and my blog for the announcement of the winners!

5. And just for submitting an image in the contest, you can take $50 off any session up until the end of 2012!

6. Sessions must occur before August 1st, 2012.

And for fun, here are a few of my favorite images from 2011.

Also, you'll want to keep updated via Facebook for my annual wedding give-away for free wedding photography for one lucky couple in 2012!

Meet Kensington!

This little beauty is the reason I haven't been doing much of anything related to db images lately.  She arrived on December 27th, 2011 and I'm kind of madly in love :)

Play Date Cards!

My 5-year-old came to me in tears today because only one little boy had invited him over to play from school.  He was so sad.  So I suggested we make up play date cards and he could give out one a week to a friend from school and we would have them over and then he could give out another card after that to someone else.  Of course my 3-year-old wanted in on the action too :)

Easy to do!

PS - I have several sessions to update on this blog!  Wow...

Baby Oliver

Loved Baby Oliver!  He was SUCH a good boy.  He let us move him around and pretty much do whatever we wanted as long as he got fed every once in a while :)

Thank you to his mommy, Rhonda Steed of Rhonda Steed Photography http://rhondasteed.com/ for inviting me to come over and photograph her and her little dude!

Bissett Family

These boys sure kept me entertained tonight!  What fun :)  Good thing I'm a mom of boys -- I was able to keep up with them.
